Stories of places, wildlife & people - told through photgraphy.

From sweeping landscapes and wildlife encounters to faraway places and meaningful portraits, my photography is about preserving the moments that make us stop, look a little closer, and remember.

Hi, I’m Sharyl. Photography is how I see the world.

Photography has been a part of my life for many years, giving me a reason to explore, slow down, and notice the moments that might otherwise pass by. I’m drawn to beautiful landscapes, wildlife encounters, fascinating places, and genuine connections between people. Whether I’m photographing close to home in Colorado or traveling somewhere new, my goal is simple—to create images that capture not only what a moment looked like, but what it felt like to be there.

THROUGH MY LENS

Finding beauty in wild places, meaningful moments, and the journey in between.

PLACES & JOURNEYS

I’m drawn to places that make me stop and take notice—from quiet Colorado landscapes to cities and destinations around the world. Through my photography, I capture the light, atmosphere, and details that give each place its character and make the journey memorable.

WILDLIFE

Wildlife photography is about patience, observation, and being ready when an unexpected moment unfolds. I love capturing animals in their natural environment—from quiet encounters to the energy and movement of wildlife in action.

PEOPLE

Portrait photography is about more than simply looking at the camera. I love capturing genuine expressions, natural connections, and the little details that make each person unique—creating photographs that feel relaxed, personal, and authentically you.
